Transportation Manager

Our client is an industry leader in the distribution of dry, refrigerated, and frozen food products. They seek a Transportation Manager for a facility located in the Northeast. Excellent opportunity for growth. Company focus on people development, customer service, and quality.

The Position

• Direct and coordinate all transportation activities for the site. Work with the General Manager, as well as other distribution centers.
• Address vendor and customer challenges.
• Budget responsibility.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure consistent process improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5-10 years transportation, distribution, or production management experience.
• Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to function in a multi-task environment.
• Team oriented and passion for excellence.
• Bachelor's degree.
