Engineering Manager
Company Background
Our client is an industry leader in the consumer products industry located in
Central/ Southern Ohio. Client is a world wide leader in the baby care and
juvenile products industry.
The Position
- Hands-on leadership role, responsible to drive project initiatives and
to manage and ensure projects meet the key metrics of schedule, cost,
capital, and functional performance.
- Budget responsibility.
- Partner with Marketing in the development and evaluation of new business
and product strategy plans.
- Work with outside vendors, both domestic and international. (Some
travel required.)
- Evaluate new technologies and marketing trends.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of applicable regulations and standards.
- Reports to Engineering Director.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5-8+ years of design engineering experience, including 3+
years project management and/or supervisory experience.
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering related field. (BSME preferred.)
- Experience at developing new products from early conceptual stage
through product development, prototyping, testing, and integration into
manufacturing.
- Product experience from a consumer products and/or medical device company.
- Ability to build partnerships and collaborate with various managers.
